Elegant blend, made with 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Côt (Malbec). Deep red colour with garnet rim. Complex nose with some ripe fruit characters and stewed prunes. Very long finish with some hints of nuts.
After being destemmed and crushed, the berries are moved into vats where they will undergo their maceration. After several plungings, the wine is transferred into oak barrels and will mature for 18 to 24 months before being allowed to rest for a further 8 months in vats. The wine will finish its ageing in bottles before being released ready to drink.
