Pale pink colour, with silvery tinge. This is the colour that is referred to as “œil de perdrix” or “partridge’s eye”. It is made with Pineau d’Aunis, an ancient local variety. Refreshing mouthful, supported by a round structure that will deliver white fruits flavours. The slightly spicy and white peppered finish is typical of this variety.
South / southeast facing slopes, on deep chalky soils with clay top soil.
Made by direct pressing followed by a traditional vinification.
Savouries, salads, fish based starters and terrines. It will also be the first choice wine for your summer lunches.
Enjoy chilled.
